Wellhead assembly consists of the casing head, tubing head and Christmas (oil/gas production) tree. It is mainly used to fix the wellhead, suspend the down-hole pipe strings, seal and control the annular space between the strings, control the pressure of the wellhead and adjust the flow rate of oil(gas).
